Santana/Arc Angels

Well, I went to see Santana & The Arc Angels here in Dallas on Saturday night, and it was an awesome show!!! Both bands were great and played alot of the great songs. Arc Angels opened and played stuff from their only album. Doyle Bramhall II is a great player & singer, as was Charlie Sexton. Chris Layton played drums very well. Don't remember the name of the bass player. Tommy Shannon's retired and not playing anymore. And of course, Santana delivered quite a bit!! Carlos still has it on the guitar and sounded great!!! He had a great band with him as well. His wife Cindy is unreal on the drums!!! Everyone really brought their A Game!!!! They even had a special guest join for the show. The annual Guitar Show was also happening here in Dallas at the Market Hall and Orianthi performed during the day, and then came over to the Santana show and sat in on several songs an she killed it!! These tickets were a b-day gift. Figured I better go this time because we might not get the chance again. You never know. Here's the setlist from both bands:

Did not know the Arc Angels were touring this summer.....good to know. Loved they're debut. I wish they would do more.
If you are not aware, Doyle and Charlie did a track with Chris and Tommy on "Been A Long". Good stuff, highly recommend the whole CD is pretty solid.

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

I like both bands. Great time I'm sure !!

Glad to hear both were great --- I need to check out Arc Angels. Not familiar
And man Carlos needs to change up his setlist. Been doing that rotation plus or minus a few differences for well over a year now

@islalala Well, this was my first time seeing a full show from him. The only other time I've seen him was in 2004 in Dallas at the first Crossroads Guitar Festival. I know he's got more songs, but this was still a great show!!
