Stage was actually big enough to fit all those egos. They meshed pretty well together.

Wife & I were going to drive from Long Island to Maryland (concert there was a Friday and it doesn't take much longer to get to DC than to the Meadowlands (I hate that place)

Fees were high on those Tickets; and may have to swallow them for a refund.

Hope all is well with Mick. Doesn't seem that there are too many things that need treatment and docs are sure will be 100%

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/03/31/mick-jagger-suffering-physical-injury-sustained-tour-preparations/

TELEGRAPH UK
Mick Jagger suffers a "physical injury" during the preparations for the tour.
The sources have confirmed to The Telegraph that Jagger is in good health,
but in reality he only got injured after training for shows.
Despite fans' panic about the long-term health of the rock star, sources have confirmed
to The Telegraph that Jagger enjoys perfect health, but in reality he only got injured after training for shows.
A source close to Jagger, who follows a strict diet and exercise regimen, said: "It's not a mysterious illness,
it's a physical injury as a result of his strenuous preparations prior to the tour." Doctors have told him to take it.
The tour will be postponed for about a month and promoters AEG Presents / Concerts West told the fans that their
tickets will still be valid at the rescheduled concerts

I hope the Stones release another studio album before they are done and over.

I recently watched this interview with Charlie Watts from February, 2018, and he says that the "Blue & Lonesome" album was recorded during the middle of sessions for a new studio album they have been working on.

Beginning at the 2:37 mark...

Yes CBS news reported this morning that Mick will undergo heart surgery this week in New York City. Hope to see Mick back soon. Said he is reportedly worth 360 million dollars. That is more than Clapton.

I'm skeptical Mick will be back as soon as was stated to the press. I know two people who have had valve replacement surgery (one via robot and not open heart) and they sure as I'm typing this did not bounce back within a few weeks of the surgery. And they weren't planning on strutting around singing tunes for two hours a night multiple nights a week shortly after their surgery's....

But hey, Mick is a skinny f*ck with a heart of stone (or so we thought) so who knows. 😛

Keith Richards is a real legend and icon. And he is 75 and still vertical and ready to tour. I thought drugs, cigarettes and booze means you are lucky if you see 60. And it is for many people. But so far Keith is still a Rolling Stone.

Several times in interviews I've heard Gregg get a laugh out of two musicians. Keith beating someone a with a Telecaster trying to get on stage then turning around and kicks off a song and the guitar is still in tune. And the other that would crack up Gregg was thinking about hearing a tape of Buddy Rich cussing out his band.

BTW Buddy Rich cussing out his band is now on You Tube. When Gregg first talked about it, it was B. I. ( Before Internet). It turned out it was Buddy's piano player who decided to sneak a tape recorder on the bus to capture one of Buddy's meltdowns.

"I'm out there working my balls off and you MFers are sucking all over this place!! What kind of trumpet section do you call this? And saxophone? You've got your Horn so far in the f*** bell we don't need a band here tonight. Everybody can hear your f clams out there tonight. You don't need a mic for that. We don't play two bars in the same f tempo. Not one. I expect 100% professionalism on every tune or you can get out of my f band tonight. When we get back to New York, you'll need another f job. I've heard high school bands sound better than we do. You are playing like f children out there. Over here you play time even on your solos. If you want to play that kind of s go back to Sydney and find a band back there, over here you play time. I'm tired of putting up with you, I'm tired of looking at you, I'm f*** tired of you period. You've got it too easy GDit. You can't go out there a play a f 45 minute set without playing s. You can't pat your f** foot and play. I've played with the greatest musicians in the world and now I have to carry AND pay you a****? " on and on and on.

It's difficult to understand how those musicians could play another set with a man acting like that!
