Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman Announce Sweetheart of The Rodeo Tour

I about spit all over my computer screen when I saw this. Already got two tickets. I feel very fortunate because so far at least, they only have 5 dates and one of them is maybe 15 miles from me. Backed by Marty Stuart and his band no less. Says they will add more dates..........
Getting more excited about my summer concert season!

Just heard about this tour a couple of days ago. Hoping it makes it way to my neck of the woods for sure! 😛

Getting inspired here,I've been listening to the Byrds Untitled all day. My favorite line up Skip Battin, Gene Parsons, Clarence White, and Roger McGuinn. Too bad we lost Clarence and Gram long ago, but their influences still live on.
I never knew till recently that Gram Parsons wrote "In My Hour of Darkness" for Clarence White shortly after his funeral.

Sou nds boss! w mARty stuart no less. hope they come way out west

Rob, glad you will be well enough to rock out this summer! Sure hope they make it near Atlanta; would love to see McGuinn & Hillman play together!!!!

Thanks Rob, this should be an incredible show. I'm also hoping they make it to Oregon.
I'm sure you guys have seen this video of Marty Stuart with McGuinn, but I'll repost it anyway:
I love that steel guitar sound- even if it's on a Telecaster!

robslob, Thanks so much for sharing this. I'm in...in Virginia. My daughter lives near Hopewell, VA.
This is a fantastic idea/concept. I would imagine this will be a bigger tour, at a later date? If not, it should be.
