RIP Yonrico Scott

I'm not sure if Yonrico really felt lost after the end of the DTB because he landed a great job with Royal Southern Brotherhood playing with veteran Cyril Neville and 4 "new" electric guitar players and vocalists who were making a name for themselves (Devon Allman, Mike Zito, Bart Walker and Tyrone Vaughan).
Just like Todd Smallie who joined JJ Grey & Mofro. Maybe the felt dissappointed or bitter for a short period but then literally moved on.
I really love the DTB and kept my fingers crossed for a reunion (tour) but still i think Derek made the right decision by forming the TTB (both artistically as business wise). The TTB are a much bigger concert draw then the DTB ever would be.

Good person and drummer.

There's no way I could disagree with that. This really surprised me as it has evolved over the last several years. I've posted something along those lines a few times and I sure wish the dTb was still together.
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

I haven’t seen a statement from Derek/TTB?

DT has says many times the DTB was not doing it for him and he did not want to continue.
I too have lost my favorite bands to breakups. But what is the point of endlessly hanging onto and hammering away at that?
The music was truly freely given. The best response is a thank you.
Perhaps we can gently turn the thread back to support, condolences, post a link to something he played that grabbed you.

Always loved the simple groove Yonrico held during Rastaman Chant. So simple but always caught my attention.
