Closet Monkees fan here. I thought from the Headquarters album on they had some decent stuff.

Have a lady friend who is a huge Peter Tork fan. She sang background on one or two of his albums.

I'll admit it
I'm a fan
I had the 1st 3 Monkees albums - I still might have them. Watched the show grades 3 - 5. I haven't listened in a long time but still like some of the tunes. I can probably still sing the Monkees theme song, and Peter's song Auntie Grezelda is playing in my head now

They had their time and left their mark in the music industry. Great sing along songs. We all have a time when we leave this earthly plane, it's just hard to really comprehend that.

I liked the Monkees but never took them too seriously. But others did.
