RIP Jack Sonni - Dire Straits

https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/01/entertainment/dire-straits-jack-sonni-dies-intl-scli/index.html
The headline and content are a little askew but "Brothers in Arms" era Dire Straits guitarist has died.
Jack was actually an American playing in the rotating "second guitar" chair for Dire Straits during the late 80s (early 90s?).
He was a hoot to watch! Check him out in the "Walk of Life" video - dancing barefoot and twistin' (by the pool?) throughout.
Jack worked occasionally at Rudy's (music store) in NYC where you could just walk up and talk to him.
The article refers to the formative days of Dire Straits and cites Jack as "the other guitarist". Any true fan knows that the original "other guitarist" was David Knopfler (Mark's brother) and that another player, Hal Lindes was the next. Jack wasn't just a rhythm guitarist - he took solo on several songs in DS shows back then. He was a great player and by all accounts, a great hang.
Farewell to Jack Sonni. Condolences to all Dire Straits fans everywhere.

Oh wow. I've seen them a few times but not sure who the second guitarist was at my shows.
RIP
