ALWAYS, and I must have heard him do that with Gregg I'm guessing 7 or 8 times at least. Floyd was a great performer and Gregg usually gave him another lead vocal tune in his set as well as Daytona.
Great jumping tune too, all about playing music with Duane and Gregg in the early days.

Most here would know but Floyd was a huge influence on Gregg, had a big hand in teaching him guitar.

Sad news indeed. The three times I saw Gregg perform, Floyd was there performing. Rock In Peace Mr. Miles.

It's a loss for people here, but Gregg must be very happy that he's up there with them. You know he got a royal welcome when he arrived up there.

Thanks Floyd. R.I.P..
"In the 1960s, Gregg and Duane Allman used to go to clubs at the base of the city pier to see Miles’ band, the Untils, an ensemble that also included Bob Greenlee, future president of Sanford-based record label Kingsnake Records and bassist for another renowned blues act, the Midnight Creepers.

The Untils were unique among area bands for something outside of the music: a lineup that featured Miles, a black singer, accompanied by white musicians, Randolph said.

In that same spirit, Miles befriended the young Allman brothers, breaking social standards to put them on stage with musicians in black nightclubs in racially segregated Daytona Beach.

“I couldn’t hang out on the beachside after I got through working,” Miles told The News-Journal in 2002, “so Gregg and Duane started hanging out across the tracks, in the black section known as Madison Heights. Back then the clubs over here were a little more lenient.

“We’d come over here and play, woodshed (practice), hang out. They used to come over to my house. In fact, Duane was there the night when my first daughter was born.”"

one of the other songs Floyd did with Gregg, was their version of Sampson and Delilah.
