cranked up her "Spirit in the Dark" ALBUM the last two evenings (not via wax, but it's on Amazon Music).
Great record of swinging soul, released Aug 24, 1970, with Duane on the side 2 opener, "When the Battle Is Over" (comp by Jesse Hill & Dr. John).
The scene in the recent Claptop doc, "Life in Twelve Bars" has some amazing footage of EC in the studio laying down his solo for Aretha's “Good to Me As I Am to You.” from her 'Lady Soul' album. She's sitting there watching the young white Brit play, smoking her cig, and intently watching him. very cool scene that luckily someone filmed.
