UK retailer spincds.com lists 6th April 2015 as a release date but still no pre-order info on http://mule.shop.musictoday.com. I wonder if this release will be on schedule or delayed. I guess Gov't Mule and their website currently focus on the critically aclaimed Sco-Mule release and live dates and we will hear from them soon. latest details I found:

Dub Side of the Mule shines a light on the band’s New Year’s Eve 2006 Beacon Theatre show. Newly-mixed and mastered, it includes a 45-minute set of reggae songs with special guest, reggae legend Toots Hibbert (founder of Toots & The Maytals). This will also be available in three configurations including a standard version (1-CD), a deluxe version (3-CD set of the entire 3-hour performance and one DVD of the Toots set) and a double vinyl version. The release also features special guests Gregg Allman & Friends and John Popper.

The deluxe 3CD/1DVD contains this music:

Disc 1

1. Thorazine Shuffle

2. Larger Than Life

3. She Said, She Said

4. Tomorrow Never Knows

5. Whiter Shade Of Pale

6. Dolphineus

7. Painted Silver Light

8. Sco-Mule

9. So Weak, So Strong

10. Play With Fire

11. Unring The Bell

Disc 2

1. I'm A Ram

2. 54-46 Was My Number *

3. Hard To Handle *

4. True Love Is Hard To Find *

5. Pressure Drop *

6. Let Down *

7. I've Got Dreams To Remember *

8. Reggae Got Soul *

9. Hard Road *

10. Happy New Year *

11. Turn On Your Love Light *

12. Reggae Soulshine

* [with Toots Hibbert]

Disc 3

1. Intro

2. Sweet Feeling^

3. Just Like A Woman ^

4. I Feel So Bad ^°

5. Dreams ^

6. Million Miles From Yesterday

7. Endless Parade

8. It's A Man's Man's Man's World

9. Ramblin' Gamblin' Man °

10. It Hurts Me Too °

11. Goin' Out West °

^[with Gregg Allman & Friends]

°[with John Popper]

So even if the Mule's reggae and dub endavours are not your cup of tea there's still a lot of other cool songs and performances on this forthcoming release that make me look forward to it.
