For those that didn't know, today is Record Store Day.

There really isn't much that floats my boat so I doubt I will go although I have many, many options in my area.

In the past I have gone the day or two after for a couple of reasons. Much of the stuff that people on this site would like are not what I would call, "mainstream" so they can typically be found after the actual day. The other reason is I am not waiting outside in a line forever since I don't want the hot releases anyway. Plus it can be cold here anyway. Wink

Happy hunting if you are going out!

Yeah....I thought about going tomorrow or sometime. I am not a huge vinyl collector/purchaser, but if I find something....

My format of choice is the CD still. Why not include these on RSD? I would tend to buy more of that over vinyl. More cheaper for the artist and label to make. Just do a limited amount of some sort of live and or rare recordings(like they do with vinyl on that day) and people will buy. I would at least.

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

I am with you Lee. There are a few titles I woudn't mind picking up but not enough to stand in line for in the early morning as there are not many Record stores out my way.

I got back into vinyl about 5 years ago and luckily never sold or disposed of my 500+ albums when I got CD fever back in the mid 80's

I will search around early next week and see if I can pickup a few leftovers I am interested in.
