Record Store Day 2019

So there's the ABB Fillmore East 2/70 Sonic Journals 2LP release (RSD First release; so it will be available in stores post-RSD but without the glow in the dark poster) and there's a 4 track Tedeschi Trucks Band 12inch vinyl release (with apparently will contain 3 outtakes from Signs and a live version of "Shame").
Personally there are a few releases in which i'm interested. A 10inch vinyl release from a Dutch band called the Dawn Brothers on which they collaborate with a couple of other Dutch psychedelic acts like Dewolff.
There are also live vinyl releases from The Ramones and The Alarm i might pick up.
What else are you looking for?

I think there’s a Warfield ‘80 Dead set which I’m probably gonna snag.
Interesting that the Allman set will be available after RSD, might just grab it later.

Went to the RSD website, looked through the list, and the ABB release was the only one that interested me enough to spend money on.
I'll just wait until it gets released after RSD to purchase a copy.

Duane doin an in store appearance for RSD.
We are so EXCITED that DUANE BETTS (of the Allman-Betts Band) and slide guitarist Johnny Stachela (of the Allman-Betts Band) are making a SPECIAL, EXCLUSIVE Record Store Day (Saturday, April 13th) in-store appearance and performance here at the Record Exchange, 256 Washington St., Salem, MA at 2:30 PM. Duane will have some VERY LIMITED EDITION blue splatter vinyl copies of his debut EP "Sketches of American Music" for sale at a VERY SPECIAL price, but CASH ONLY sales for this (NO credit cards). We hope all of you can make it - YOUR presence will make it all the more special! FAVOR: Would anyone have two tall "bar type" stools we can borrow for the performance? The Allman-Betts Band will be playing the Cabot Theater in Beverly the same evening...a nice way to finish up Record Store Day 2019!

Magpie Salute has a disc in play that I'll be jumping on. I got an email with the picture disc, but I couldn't paste.

It's a zoo in Chicago. I went out this morning to look for that vinyl of the ABB show, the TTB one and a few others. People were lined up around blocks just trying to get in. My buddy sent a text to me at 5:40 this morning because he wanted to get in. Thought he was nuts.
So the only thing I got (which is really cool) is the Little Village album. John Hiatt, Ry Cooder, Jim Keltner & Nick Lowe.
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

Went to 5 stores yesterday and my son lined up at one in the early am with a short list from me. Was not able to find the Jeff Tweedy or the Tedeschi Trucks here in Toronto but did get the Groundhogs and a few others including an Eric Clapton Duane Allman 2 LP set with the Layla jams that I can't recall seeing on the RSD list. Also got the Janis Woodstock, Beatles Stax covers, LA Nuggets and Jethro Tull. Didn't see the ABB offering either. Also had a number of items in my hands that I put back with some regret. Have to keep to the budget!

That "Eric Clapton Duane Allman 2 LP set with the Layla jams" came out a few weeks ago. It's no a RSD release. It's a bootleg yet it's being offered on various online webstores and brick & mortar shops that normally do not stock bootlegs. The reason is simple: currently the (European) market is flooded with "grey area" releases of radio shows released on vinyl and CD. When these public broadcasts are older than 25 years they become "public domain" according to current European laws. Sold outside Europe as "imports". So most of these releases are actually sourced from radio shows but it's becomes tempting to sneek in other recordings as well. Like these Layla studio jams which have never been broadcasted and were never intended for broadcast.

Are these the jams we already have from the Layla boxed set?

I think they are identical but not 100% sure.
