What year did Instant lives start at the beacon, 2009?

Has anyone ever heard a non official release beacon show sound board from between 89-09 ?

I'm just speculating on how much great stuff is in the vault. Would love to hear some from the Pearson era. The last show in 98 was a smoker and I have great memories of 94,96 and the last Warren/Woody show in 97 was another one that i'd love to hear some day.

I've love to hear the show with the acoustic Elizabeth Reed with Pearson. The four 2001 shows with Chuck Leavell would be at/near the top of my list. 3/21/05 with Chuck Leavell, the night prior to the Big House Benefit, was one of the best shows of the past 15 years based on the recordings I've heard. The 1998 show where they played a very strong version of Freddie King's Hide Away would be great to have.

I'd want to hear that final night with Woody in 1997.

I too would love to hear some of that stuff!

I have 3/21/97 which is a rare non official sbd from the Beacon, also close to the last show with Woody. It also contains a somewhat rare version of Trouble No More which that version of the band did not play very often at all.

There are a few Instant Lives from the 2003 trial run and it got into high gear in 2004. MunckMusic goes back to July 2007 but they couldn't record at the Beacon until 2009. It'd be nice if there were more archive releases. We know the band was never really that excited about that stuff, so even if they have more recordings that are good enough for release I wouldn't expect them to have a lot of interest in exploring that now. I've never really understood if that was a money thing or a don't-live-in-the-past thing or a technology thing because you'd think they could have done a Mule tracks a la carte download thing without that much trouble. But like I said, if they didn't do it in the past it's hard to expect them to do it now because there probably won't be any new content and many of the people who would buy these shows already bought the downloads or CDs or traded for them. It'd be great if that's not the case.

when i first started to see the brothers in 93, and i was a taper (doing the dead and phish), they would allow soundboard patches.........

that stopped maybe 95 or so, but a good buddy of mine got to patch in a bunch of times........
