I wish I had better news during this holiday season. Our brother, TanDan could use all of our prayers, good thoughts and wishes right now. He's been fighting this thing with all the bravery and heart that you'd expect out of a man of his caliber.

Hate to hear of anyone having this struggle. Especially hate to hear this aboiut Dan. I'll be joining you in those prayers, Rusty, and am sending healing thoughts eastward towards Dan, comforting thoughts for Dan and his family and all who love him. He's one of the finest of the folks here on this site ... kind and thoughtful and interested and interesting (I love reading his posts ...have picked up some good reading material based on some of them, some great factoids based on others of them and had more than a few chuckles and smiles along the way).
I'm going to close my eyes, listen to some Townes Van Zandt, and picture Dan smiling and well (oh - now I'm seeing him at Wanee 2015 with his son and the Hilton crew 
). Be well, Dan - keeping you in thoughts.
