Peachfest roll call

Just checking in to see who will be in Scranton this weekend. Gonna be a good time. Hope to see some of the fine brothers and sisters there. There is a roll call I. Facebook but figured we might catch some more people here.

I'm going Friday and Saturday, getting excited. Should be a lot of fun.
Question-How intense is the pat down to get in? Is there a heavy police presence after the show? I'm not staying on site, I'm guessing I won't be able to bring in beverages. How expensive will they be at the show? Is there any alternative, Shakedown like scenario in the camping section (and would it be a far walk?)

I'll be there Friday and Sat. with my wife
Those are all good questions above that I do not have answers to but am curious about, as well!
Cheers!

we never had any issues with the entrance security & brought in drink & food..but it prob depends who you get. We're usually camped pretty close so come & go frequently so some of them get to know you. I've seen worse police at other shows by far but they do tend to show their prescence at the end particularly. The Live Nation security at front of the stage were a bit solid & not nice though. We weren't going but could not turn down this awesome lineup, there's so many great shows,it'll be challenging to catch all the ones available.
btw,for food-the grilled cheese sandwich truck just outside the Main gates is great. They have every type of grilled cheeses known to man.

from what I remember security wasn't too bad. Don't smoke anything (including cigarrettes) in the pavillion but security was cool on the lawn
I think they let you bring in a large bottle of water. There were water fountains to refill all over.
Beers were priced about the same there as everywhere else. They had "standard" beer and micobrew
People were tailgating in the lot during the day, no one seemed to bother them.
We had reserved seats in the pav. I lost my ticket, went to the LN desk, and they regenerated a ticket for me no problem.

I'll be there. Can't wait!

We'll be there from Brooklyn, Friday - Sunday. As for security, my husband and I were thoroughly patted down every time we went in last year - I mean, they took out our clothes for when it got cold and checked them all, etc. And we are pretty clean-cut. It was annoying as hell. But, probably we just got the extra vigilant checkers.

Will be coming in on Friday from Cleveland with my son and meeting up with two friends from Philly. We stayed in hotel and took shuttle and were never patted down. Smoked in amphitheater. Did not seem to be an issue. Magic Hat #9 tasted good last year and they appear to be big sponser this year. And did anyone get to try the bacon wrapped hot dogs from a food truck. A great late night snack. Can't wait to see Butch's gang especially with Bill Evans. Should be a good one.

Any must sees beyond the obvious? I think Aussie PF will blow people away late night. How's Blues Traveler these days? Saw them years ago. I've heard good things about Trombone Shorty. I saw Rusted Root years ago too, they were interesting. Never heard of Old Crow MS but reading up on them they seem must see. Someone on another thread recommended Pigeons Playing...

Old Crow Medicine show will be great, love the time slot too on the Peach stage. Another band that I think is a must see is Joe Russo's Almost Dead. Those guys flat out boogie. Cabinet another fav. Deep Banana Blackout if u have not seen them r amazing. Gonna be a fantastic weekend!! I can't get out of work fast enough lol

If you are there yet... I'm in conversation with Jaimoe Friday at 12:30 inside the ski lodge. Come say hi. jaimoe and I signing books afterwards.
I'll also be signing Saturday afternoon 1:00 pm at the Big House tent.
