I was just seeing if any of the good folks on here belong to other sites like this one they could recommed.

This is just my opinion , traffic has really slowed down on this site. I know when the ABB called it a day it would but I feel over the last 6-9 mom's it has gotten slower. Whipping post stays pretty active as long as Trumps in office 😉

I don't do alot of social media, this is about the extent. I have no plans of not visiting, but looking for something thats a little more active.

There are alot of good people on here with great insight, knowledege about music and other matters of this world and I always enjoy hearing.

Thanks

It is a bit of a concern for me, I don't do face book or tweeter, have never posted on other sites, other than a couple concert reviews at boblinks, I guess I will just go back to talking to myself, probably just come here and walk the empty halls alone, maybe start back at the oldest thread and start reading upwards...........Peace........joe

I hang out on phook.net even though I'm not a phish fan. Just used it to post my list back in the old days. There are some nice people over there. And some not so nice that it's fun to engage with 😉

Another thumbs up for the Steve Hoffman Music Forum.

Looking for some good reading, check out this thread on Derek and the Dominos with Bobby Whitlock. Keep in mind, it's a long, long thread but some great insight from someone who was there.

parts of the Drive By Truckers/Three Dimes Down forum are pretty active. I participated a few years ago, not really anymore.

I am active on some other topic specific forums, but no music ones and this is the only place I engage in off-topic/current event stuff.

I just like coming here. It's home.

Good topic, good question. I visit some bands' / artists' sites, but this is the most active music one I visit. I check out allmusic, Rolling Stone, Deep Purple's "The Highway Star" site, a Black Sabbath site, and the Paul Westerberg "Men Without Ties" site. Not all of those have message boards though. The Tommy Bolin Archives site is gone. I do read Steve Hackett's blog. I gave up on the King Crimson sites / Elephant Talk years ago.

I have not done my homework with Facebook pages, but the ones I have seen do not seem as organized and forums with clearly labeled threads like the one we are on now. I like this ABB one the best.

Well, not a forum (sorry to take this thread a bit off-topic Smile but this is a very informative website for music fanatics:

https://musicmap.info/

P.s.: use the scroll function of your mouse to quickly find out how vast and complex this music map is!
