OldDirtRoad RIP

As many know Kenny had a great sense of humor and a love for Glenn Hughes.
This is something he would have loved.
Glenn Hughes in Japan on a TV show. He plays with a house band and two guys that look like some mutant sons of KISS, GWAR and Godzilla. The whole thing is bizarre but the best part is when they start doing advertisements during the solo section.
Definitely a WTF moment - Kenny's style.
Glenn Hughes - Burn

🙁

Very saddened to hear this, Kenny was a good dude.
I missed him when he left here, then he did the same on facebook.
Once he came back there he didn't restore all his friends.
RIP Kenny.

I never post here anymore but i saw something on Facebook about this so came by to check...
Really sad news - Kenny was one of the best of the good ones, but troubled with things on and off....so I'm hoping he's in a far better place now.
Only met him once - during a spur of the moment trip to Oak Mountain for a dTb and ABB show....but like many of us, I was often on the receiving end of his mailing generosity....and his stories sure could make me spit coffee all over the computer screen!!
Sad news indeed....

This seriously sucks. We met once at that same ABB/DT show mentioned earlier. He struggled over the years, but his generosity of spirit was unmatched. Like a lot of us, we lost touch as the band wound down and I hung out here less. Funny, I was thinking about him yesterday and thinking I needed to try to get in touch. Life throws curveballs sometimes.
Rest in peace and fly on brother.

I am so sorry to read this. Like many I never met ODR but we had a lot of interaction on this site and through PM's---he was a trip in the best sense of the word. So clever and funny. RIP my friend
One of the good Ones gone to soon,
Rest in Peace Brother .... ......................

Never had to pleasure of meeting him, wish that I had.
His humor and approach to things was as unique as this site has ever seen.
RIP, ODR.
"Is that a real poncho or is that a Sears poncho?"

He was a really good person and I remember when he sent me a birthday box of music after I had moved and lost a bunch of stuff. He picked out live stuff that he thought I would like and it was perfect, including one of the shows I wanted most, without me having even said anything. He just knew. He just felt like doing it. It was so generous, he will be rewarded up there. I know it. He's where Duane is, and there is music up there.

had to add my thoughts too--I ran into odr several times years ago, I know once I visited him at his office although I have forgotten the circumstances. one of the folks who made this site special!
patrick

Kenny was a guy I enjoyed talking to and he was a good soul who suffered.
I hope find the peace, rest and love that brings light to his soul.RIP my friend.

RIP ODR.... always enjoyed reading his posts.
Never had the chance to meet him.

As is the case too often it seems, it's great to see some of our old guard crew posting here again; just wish it were under better circumstances.

I agree Tim. Nice of everyone to post and show respect but I wish some of those old timers would drop by more often.
Nice to see the likes of Dino around here. 😉

🙁 RIP Ken ODR .. sad

Another good one gone too soon. 🙁

Sad to read about this. RIP

I agree.
Sad that things have wound down here.

I know Kenny was a fan of alot of music, but I know he REALLY loved UFO and Glenn Hughes.
We swapped alot of good music.
RIP Kenny ....playing these loudly....they are for you!!!!!

GLENN HUGHES - In My Blood
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Very sad news. R.I.P. 🙁

Haven't been here much and then I read this. Like many I didn't know Kenny well but he reached out to me more than once and I too was the fortunate recipient of his boundless generosity. My tastes and his didn't always intertwine, but I was always uplifted by his passion for the music, which he obviously passed on to too many of us to count.
If there is a Karma Bank, Kenny should be the CEO of it.
R.I.P. My friend. I hope you are happy and in a much better place....

Kenny was the man!!! Traded a ton back in the day. He turned me on to Savoy Brown and Spooky Tooth. Loved the blue CDRs he always seemed to send. You will be missed ODR!!

Damn... never met him in person, but he always was gracious. Even when I acted like a turd.

Kenny was a damn good dude. One of a handful that reached out to me when I was a newbie here. Helped me ALOT with getting started trading as well.
Not to mention his hilarious personality
Gonna miss ya K-Dogg..

yeah...he reached out to me too.
mighty cool dude and a good man.
he made me laugh.
