North Mississippi All-Stars, Felton Music Hall, Felton, CA, 2/14/20

Oh Man what a way to spend Valentine's Day!! No date but hung with friends Charles and wife Janell. As usual at this funky mountain bar in Felton, the hippie girl scenery was outstanding.
All I can say folks is that as far as I'm concerned NMAS just moved right into the chair along with Gov't Mule as one of my two very favorite jam bands and GM has held that spot by themselves ever since ABB ceased to exist.
Luther Dickinson started it off with a 20 or 25 minute solo set. Including that, this band played for 3 hours and 10 minutes without taking a break.
They were ASTONISHING. I'm no newbie to this band by a longshot. First time seeing them was at a long defunct Festival in Vegas, Vegoose, must have been 2004. Seen them a couple of times since then but it's been a lot of years. TRUST ME, this band has taken it up a notch. Not only has Luther only gotten better, Cody has now got to be one of the best drummers out there and the bass player is another virtuoso.
Still just a trio, which confuses me because the latest picture going around has a 4th, female band member. Anyone know what's up with that? And does anyone know who the bass player is? I even looked on their website and could not find his name.
GO SEE THIS BAND SHOULD YOU GET A CHANCE. Here's some video for you. The first is a short (1:41) snippet of Luther solo. The other two are great jams around 7:30 or so.

Jesse Williams.

And I am guessing the woman you are referring to would be Sharde Thomas.

Here's some info and clips from last years threads regarding the NMA.
This one has some great info in the Up And Coming review link, It mentions the new disc and personnel.
