Dickey not able to fly to New York is more like it. Something already scheduled was what they said in 2014. I think in 2009 they didnt say anything. Dickey later said he didnt show because he didnt get a call personally from Gregg. Isn't that right? Thay is how I remember it. But I'm 73 now and just recently beginning to have some recall trouble. This is the Canned Heat site isn't it?

Very nice article. If you've never met him and get the chance, do so. When all those Beacon parties were held back in the day, he popped in a few times and greeted everyone and actually played with a few of the guys here that play.

I ran into him at the Red Rocks hotel several years ago before one of their shows. Didn't want to bother him but I just happened to bump into him so it was hard not to say SOMETHING. We chatted for a while. Of course he was gracious that so many folks traveled so far to see the band.

Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.
