Haven't heard her with Cooper yet but Nita Strauss has replaced Orianthi with Alice Cooper.

According to Guitar Player Nita was coached by Bob Ezrin to 'tone it down' & strictly play in the "Rock" genre for Coopers live shows rather than her norm,more shredder style. What a novel idea!

Why is Orianthi out?

i think she just wanted to do her own thing again

This happened a while ago. I saw Alice front row back in July and lets just say I was quite taken with Nita.

Orianthi is actually hanging and playing with Richie Sambora and Gregg's daughter Brooklyn and has written stuff with Brooklyn. They both talk about each other a fair amount on their respective twitter accounts and have become fast friends.

wow,Orianthi good friends with Gregs daughter Brooklyn? What a coincidence! I was just tossing her name around earlier this year in that rediculous post I had started for fun. I had no idea there was any type of relationship to any of the band. That would be interesting to see those 2 collaborate on somethings. I think it would be cool too if Gregs daughters' band were booked for Peachfest, Devon was there last year.

Brooklyn's band Picture Me Broken opened for the shock therapy tour with Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson which is where she probably became friends with Orianthi. I don't know that they would fit in exactly at Peach but fit in fine on that tour. Here is a little clip of Brooklyn singing with Orianthi at this years Orianthi Halloween show. I think Orianthi is actually dating Richie Sambora now for whatever that is worth.

Brooklyns' got a strong voice, really good. Their band would be great at Peachfest,you should have seen 'Consider the Source' last year. They were very heavy metal..stopped us cold in our tracks,they were awesome,very experimental. Really spaced out music & quite a hit with the young crowd there. The toughest part of that festival is choosing who to see cause there's so many great artists often on at the same time. Her band would fit right in and probably introduce them to a new market.
