Hoping Bono has an even bigger role than he did in Muscle Shoals! 😉

Wasn't Bono like 15 years old then?
A friend and I heard Jimmy was doing a rally at Nassau Coliseum.
This was a few days before the election.
We drove over to Nassau and ended up standing by the entrance to the stage on the floor.
We turned around and two Secret Service Agents were on each side of Jimmy.
He was less that 6 feet from where we stood.
As I remember it, I looked down and Smiling Jimmy's feet were off the ground and his eyes were wide as saucers.
Secret Service were literally carrying him by each arm.
Real fast they breezed by us and then he was climbing the stage stairs as the crowd roared.
A week later he won the election.

nice .. he probably wasn't used to Secret Service yet. It wiill be interesting to see if there's enough music influences to fill a movie. He credits the Allman Brothers for helping him get elected after he ran out of money campaigning.
