New Jeff Healey "Heal My Soul"

Editorial Reviews
On March 25, Provogue will release the first new, original Jeff Healey material in over 15 years. This incredible lost album features some of the most powerful and passionate performances Healey ever committed to record. 'Heal My Soul' has been compiled by the Jeff Healey Estate to coincide with what would have been Healey’s 50th birthday on March 25th, 2016. Healey is remembered as one of the most outstanding guitarists and performers of the past 30 years. After losing his sight during childhood, he developed the distinctive lap-style guitar technique that brought him international fame.
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Looking forward to this. Saw him once in the late 80's at the Nightstage club in Cambridge MA and it was spectacular. He played mostly seated but would occasionally stand up and rock out swinging with his guitar. I remember a woman sitting in the front row right against the stage watching him play as the neck of his guitar seemed to just barely keep missing her head - to this day I wonder if she knew he was blind.

Might pick this up to add to my other JH CD's, love his music.
Always enjoy watching re-runs of the movie Road House - he is the house band in that bar, in the movie.

Got this and am listening now.
Searing and soaring guitar licks on good songs, great vocals.
If you like any of his other material, you will like this.

Any JH fans give this a listen yet?

Can't wait to hear this collection by Jeff. LOVE Jeff Healey. Saw him open for the Allman Brothers August 29, 1992 at Merriweather Post Pavillion and he rocked the house. Loved how he played guitar on his lap. Favorite song is "Confidence Man" and "Macon Georgia Blue".
I interviewed Jeff on Memorial Day 2001, (best way to spend the holiday ever!) Here's an archive of my interview that was published in "Vintage Guitar Magazine" both in the hard copy magazine and here it is on VG's website.

Also loved Jeff and his bandwho had acting and performing roles playing the house band in the Patrick Swayze cult 1989 movie "Road House". The band performed the entire movie enclosed behind a chain link fence because the bar they played at was so rough that every night there were bar fights with people throwing bottles and glass!
