listening back to Warren,Jack,Chuck,Mule & Paul Riddle from MYE---they were outstanding.

Chuck brings a particular mood & flavor to the sound that brings me back to so many memories from the time.

The tempo All Mule played at was reminiscent of the 73- 76 Brothers. As usual Warren is the best at putting together these types of shows. Jack and Chuck added a special dimension that made this set memorable and unique . Loved every minute of it.

Chuck's work on Elizabeth Reed was incredible. All Mule should do 2 sets at Mountain Jam this summer.

I will likely catch flac for this, but IMO ALL MULE was better than ABB from 75 and 76.
To me, the band in those years was lacking energy (despite great playing by Dickie and Chuck) and cohesion. You could hear the toll that tragedy, drugs, and the trappings of fame had on the band.
YMMV

No "flac" but imho after having seen a lot of the 75-76 shows and the AllMule performance there is no comparison since both were great but different. The latter was an outstanding group of musicians but the former was incredible, their problems notwithstanding.

In essence, two different bands which are both outstanding.I acknowledge that the drumming in AllMule was so good that it may have had more swing and was more energetic, but the 75-76 band was quite cohesive and the times I saw them they kicked ass.????
