everything went according to plan.
had the grandchildren, watched them play in the piles of leaves, all rosy cheeked, pizza/ice cream, much needed nap, watched the Patriots dismantle the Colts.
really good day.
Spent the weekend at Bear Creek but took as much time relaxing in the campground as seeing music. Tomorrow night is Dave Mason's Traffic Jam. Tonight is sleep.

Kevin & I sat alone tog outback of the Ray, enjoying the cool evening air..
this outrageous guitar drifted, and I mean loud, stealing a little of some Dickey & Duane rifts..
After a late night dinner complete with 1 Tenant...Tenant, that's the Irish beer I enjoy/forgot name , my 1 in a blue moon, light & crisp, kinda like a Budweiser but dif.
We strolled down the city streets (lol) wait...county streets, what the Hell..little sidewalk off HWY 17 West..see where the lucious sounds were coming from
unbelievable to our eyes..the 1st EVER Punta Gorda Blues Festival....ok, they exaggerated when they called it a festival , a small minded little town we have here, thank God new blood is coming and bringing good things /good music! not that I dont love the Beach Boys, but come on now people..
anyway..Tab Benoit! ..at least the man was big.. nice bus too....how lucky was that?

We finally had to call it a night, popped back into the Ray to use "Hers" and suddenly an Irishman appeared singing Into The Mystic and Danny Boy..we had somehow missed the music when we were at bar ordering food, we caught his closer and encore
great night, greater Sunday visit with 2 Peachy friends that traveled long and hard to come see us..Do you see this, love you Roxy and Wes xoxoxox
Jr , wife and the 2 boys showed up Sunday (Jr is my baby) he took over the grill and Amy-girl whipped up the best quacomole this side of Mexico City, dont know how she does it, with that redhead of hers..Love my daughter-in-law.
Granddaughter and her bff spent Saturday night just to throw a wrench into the mix..no weekend is perfect , kidding, they r cutie pies/not quite teens yet, but close..oy
all in all, much needed Friend and Family time weekend..in Floyd Miles word, "That's what its all about, Family & Friends, Friends and Family....work hard, play hard.."
Didn't see Bela but had a fun saturday night with the girlfriend instead
