Hi! last April we put up the same post for our first trip to Ashville...Needless to say the response was overwhelming and we had many suggestions that were right on point. We had a TREMENDOUS TIME!..now we are asking for the same recommendations
Restaurants, any clubs, museums, art galleries will be appreciated..and anything else you can think of...THANK YOU SOO MUCH

I'm not trying to be a smartass, as I live in Charlotte, but I would change plans and do a return trip to asheville. Charlotte has little going on. Panic is playing New year's eve. Asheville is the place to visit.

If you do end up in Charlotte, my favorite joint is the Diamond Drive In.

There's an awesome swingers club about 2 blocks from the venue. You and the wifey should drop by after the show. It's an after hours joint and open very late so don't worry about the hour. The code word at the door is "Chain." Enjoy! Cool Grin Grin

And before anyone reads my previous post, I will remind you, he did say, and I quote,
"and anything else you can think of" Just saying....Peace everyone and I was only kidding. Well not really...It is a fun club. 😛

I've not been there, but know folks that have....the Nascar Hall of Fame is in Charlotte.

Ok, if you are committed to Charlotte. Double Door Inn on 12/27 for Analog Daze as this is a cool blues club. Not much musically going on that week as it is a down time. Check out the NoDa section of town by going to the NoDa brewery and then dinner at Fish Cabo. During the day, check out the Whitewater center where the US team trains. There are several museums uptown that you can check out. If you like outdoors stuff you can do a hike at Crowders or Kings Mountains which are about 30 miles out. There is a roof top bar on top of the Hyatt hotel. And we do have the NASCAR hall of Fame.

That is all folks...
