Very good Warren interview with lots of info on upcoming stuff including the Mule and Scofield tour. ( though not much specific on that tour just that it will happen in 2015 )

Warren's really slowing down - that interview only mentions current projects or upcoming shows in jazz, classic rock, hard rock, dub/reggae, and bluegrass/singer songwriter folk. Seems like a lot of genres are being ignored. Where are the symphonies Warren?
Plus he's only really in 1 band right now. Sure the Allmans just ended - and he just played with Phil Lesh, and hel'll likely be in the Dead again to some extent if they go next year - but that's all past or future. Right now he's just in one single band - really resting on his laurels if you ask me. He should have joined 2-3 more bands to get through the winter.

Thanks for posting. There seem to be a lot of exciting Warren projects in the works. Moss grows slow on a rolling stone.

Reminds me of Artimus Pyle introducing Warren to do Simple Man(which he flew in for from somewhere) @ Danny Toler's benefit..."I feel sorry for Warren, he's down to 15 bands!" 😛

Sad to see an artist of Warren's status winding it down. I am amazed that he didn't want to play with the last dozen musicians that he has yet to get to.

Perhaps he is going MC Warren and will begin rapping and scratching and just needs those spare days to practice. 😛

all kidding aside... if there is one guy in this ABB realm that deserves a little down time it is Warren...

20 years of Mule, revitalizing the ABB ... TWICE... he lit a fire under Dickey's azz that gave us some great guitar work during the early to mid 90's... his work with the dead & phil etc...

My hat is off to Warren... take a rest man, you earned it.
