The New Years Tradition continues! Gov’t Mule is thrilled to once again ring in the New Year with 2 shows (including NYE) at The Beacon Theatre in NYC! This year, as part of our special New Year's Eve Back to the Beacon performance, we will be joined by Special Guest Myles Kennedy (Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, Alter Bridge). New Year's shows are always something special and this year will be no exception. VIP Tickets will be available starting Tuesday, October 7 at 12pm Noon with regular tickets going on sale Friday, October 10 at 12pm Noon.
We are also pleased to announce that we will be returning to Philadelphia for two nights around New Year's for the third year in a row. This year the shows will be on Friday, January 2nd and Saturday, January 3rd. On the 2nd we will be joined by Cabinet w/ Ron Holloway, and on the 3rd Bill Evans & Soulgrass will do the honors of opening up the show. VIP & presale tickets will take place the week of October 13th, with a public on-sale on Friday October 17th. Details on the VIP & presale tickets will be announced very shortly.

AC/DC for NYE sounds fun enough to me.

That sounds fun. And it's a timely tribute given the news about Malcolm Young's health.
My buddy reminded me that Brian Farmer was a big AC/DC fan so that might play into it. Definitely should be fun and Myles Kennedy should kill it.
Hope Myles plays guitar also. Should be a smoker. Not sure about the Mule playing AC/DC but what the hell.
An AC/DC set would be killer even if they just do 'Back In Black' which is an amazing album from beginning to end. I am also hoping that with Kennedy present they will break out some Led Zeppelin tunes, maybe in the 3rd set??? They could do just about anything in Zep's catalog with Kennedy's vocals.

We're in for The Beacon. I may do Philly alone as well. Strange that it's in 2015 this year - changed my hotel reservations for the new dates.
Man this bums me out. We have done xmas jam every year while living in sc, but now with our 3 year old we struggled with sitters and changed to the Christmas time mule in Philly shows since we originally from there and always up over the holidays. It was our 1 time to cut loose and have a blast...but we gone in January. Been so good last several shows there. We moved to Arkansas last year and good shows don't find us here like living near Charlotte or Philly. Last few years its been like a mini reunion for me and those Christmas time philly shows were special. Bummer. And bill evans on sat too.

Why were you unable to by the 31st BLD? If its telling you no seats clear your cookies and try again. There definitely still seats in there.

No that is the vip presale and that is not what is being asked about. There is citi card presales on tm on Tuesday as well as another tm presale on Wednesday and no word yet on music today presale which would likely be Wednesday at noon if there is one.
