That looks like a good one. In the old days I would always go catch them in Indy among many places but schedule just would not allow it this year.

WOW
Great looking set

Looks like a great show. I'm curious how "Traveling Tune" sounded live. After several more listens of the new album, this tune is one of my favorites. In fact, I'm digging the entire album more and more. "Thorns of Life," "Dark is the Night, Cold is the Ground," are two more I'm starting to really appreciate.
Also, the first track on the bonus CD really grabbed my ear yesterday. First I've hear it and didn't hear the rest of the song before arriving at work and thus not getting to hear all of it.
For those that have heard the new material live, how is it sounding in comparison to the studio version? Are they, in typical Mule fashion, jamming and extending them out a bit?

I too, like the album more with each listen. I still want to listen through headphones and write my impressions. The music is incredibly diverse and the production is excellent.
The songs I've heard live were explorations of the studio versions. "Sarah Surrender" probably stays closest to the original. I've not seen them since May but am excited to see them next Friday at Lockn'.
It looks like they are playing different new tunes than they played in May.
I wish Gov't Mule were playing two sets at Lockn'. I'm a little disappointed they aren't.

I was at this show. Very, very good show. Spanish Moon was too good.

Saw them at Great South Bay music festival was a great show they played 4 new songs.Stone cold rage was rocking.Warren playing a new Gibson lt blue firebird.Revolution come Revolution go also very rocking there's a lot going on in that song.TravelingTune nice change of pace great lyrics in that song it's all about there fan base.Sarah Surrender very good. Was hoping to here Pressure under fire love that song.Mule whole lotta love was so good so was Doing it death just love when play it.Good morning little school with Paul Nelson from Johnny Winters band also was just great it was a couple days after the ann of Johnny's passing.Always a great live show don't miss them.
