Macon-stay 1 or 2 nights?

I am flying in for the TTB/Gov’t Mule show in October in Macon. Undecided if I should stay for two nights or one. Plan was originally to fly to Atlanta on the 10th, catch a Groome shuttle the same day, and stay two nights. Now I am wondering if it makes sense to stay in Macon for one night and stay in Atlanta on the 10th to see North Mississippi All Stars and go to Macon on the 11th to see the Allmans sites and catch the show.
Any advice on this? Right now, there is no music in Macon scheduled on the 10th. Is there enough to do for two days in Macon?

We went to Macon this past March. Got there the first day around 1:00 pm. after checking into room, we had lunch at the Rookery, checked out Capicorn Studios, where you you can spend a lot of time listening album tracks, and later went to Grant's Lounge for concert from Macon Allstars. Next day was breakfast at H&H, tour the big house and a trip to Rose Hill Cemetary. You might be able to squeeze it all in 1 day, but I would recommend 2. There were other points of interest that we didn't see

Yes two nights. Easier to see everything without rushing.
The cemetery and the Big House are definitely time consumers. Capricorn studio too.

visitmacon.org has a lot of helpful information. There is a downloadable app for the Macon Music Trail

10 years ago I would have said 1 night. But Macon has grown a lot since then, take 2 nights and don't rush it.

Isn't there some kind of Airbnb that has a Gregg stayed here room in Macon?
