Luther came to town with some friends including Amy Lavere, Sharde Thomas, Will Sexton, and also had a Gent named Rich sitting in on drums. They brought some Mississippi with them and shared some sounds. Mr. Dickinson has a new disc coming out Blues And Ballads A Folksingers Songbook Volumes I & II.

This show was a display of some of what the disc has to offer. Luther has some new material with some reinvented older material reworked with different arrangements. An Unplugged and down home approach. I love him and his music and just felt right at home at the show. He has 2 more shows in Florida this coming week. If you can make it, It's well worth the effort.

I drove past the 9/11 Memorial and Freedom Tower on the way home. Some Mississippi Blue canvassed NYC, Beauty of a night!
