Los Lonely Boys!!!

Well, saw these guys on friday night in Dallas at the House of Blues, and they absolutely kicked ass!!! It was my 5th time seeing them and they get better each time!! Henry, Ringo, and JoJo are great singers & musicians!! Henry absolutely tears it up on the guitar!! Their song Cottonfields & Crossroads is a highlight!! You'd almost think that Stevie Ray Vaughan was on that stage with them. I'll see them everytime when they're here if I can. If you haven't seen them, go if you can. Fantastic show!!!

Good band. I saw them a couple weeks ago in the city and they're coming back in November. I had 8 tix for the last show, I sat off to the side, but my daughter sat with 5 of her college friends up front. Just me and Mama are going to the November show. A far cry from SRV, He is often replicated, but never duplicated, many bands try Kenny Wayne, Indigenous, all good, some great, none Stevie.
Here's the closing clip from a the show....

Well, nobody will ever equal SRV, but they're still a great band. They had their family backstage watching the show. They had 2 of their boys come out and play bass & percussion on the song Heaven, which closed the show.

great band. the albums are all worth owning

They're a great band no doubt. 3 brothers Henry, Jojo, & Ringo. Fun and energetic Texican Rock. I saw them open for Carlos and headline at William Paterson College with Alejandro Escovedo and Hacieda. Always a good time. They've matured somewhat, I used to love some of the gimmicks with Henry and Jojo playing the others guitar and bass at the same time.

Love these guys. Sounds like a great show. I've never seen one of their shows.
I also love SRV but always wears me out if I listen too long. My complaint with his playing is too many notes, too fast. He was a genius the way he could flip back & forth from lead to rhythm all while singing.

Great band. First time I saw them was probably about 2003 or 2004. I came to Chicago to see Robert Randolph at House of Blues. My buddy saw them the night before and I asked him who opened. He said Los Lonely Boys. I said "Who?".
So I went to the show and they blew me away. I love Robert Randolph but they were better and I had never heard of them. They are great.
They did piss me off that year they were supposed to open on part of the ABB tour but that song Heaven came out and they got kind of big and cancelled.
Still, great band.
