I really wish I could. The lineup looks epic. The TTB Joe Cocker set is reason enough to go. I hope that gets recorded. I have already gone to Gathering of the Vibes and Wanee, so I don't think I can afford a trip to VA. Then I found out I had to teach on Fridays, so it's definitely not going to happen. Glad to hear there are some peoples around here who can report back and enjoy the weekend for me!

Day tickets went on sale today:
I'm glad I bought the early bird 4 day pass.

We are in! We will be in the VIP camping area. Can't wait till next week!
Tom and Terri

I'm there!! I haven't been to a multi-day festival since the first Peach. I am very excited. And it certainly doesn't get more epic these days.....maybe only if RRE and Gillian Welch/Dave Rawlins were on the bill But you can't have it all!
I think Saturday will be monstrous with:
PL&F w/Haynes and Santana!!
TTB
Karl Denson and Chuck
Robert Plant
Mule after hours!!!!!!
And it looks like a beautiful and well organized venue....

Is this it? not many of us, eh?
Does anyone know if the festival organizers will release more specific show times soon? or are the daily line-ups as detailed as it will get bf arrival?

Show time are now available. Go to Lockn website......download there mobile app.

The wife and I...along w/ our friend, will be there for Saturday! Best day of music I'll probably ever see! Can't even wrap my head around it. Question for you Lockn vets: Will any of the late night sets overlap? Whats the weather like? i.e..really hot in the day to a big-swing to really cold at night?
Also...can someone please post the set-times in this thread...I tried but can't dload the App.

Hey thetoweringfool... check your PM's for my cell number. I hope to run into you again!
Saturday's line up:
Blue Ridge Bowl
11 - 11;59 AM - Melvin Seals and JGB W/John Kadlecik
Main Stage:
Bob Weir - All day in different guest spots
Lord Nelson 1PM - 1:30
Love Canon 1:30 - 2:30
Karl Denson's Tiny Universe w/Chuck Leavell 2:30-3:30
Hot Tuna 3:30 - 4:30
The JayHawks 4:30 - 5:30
TTB 5:30 - 7:00
Robert Plant & SSS 7:00 - 8:30
Widespread Panic w/Jimmy Cliff 8:30 - 10:30
Phil & Friends w/Carlos/Warren/Barry Sless/Molo/Barraco 10:30 - Midnight
All those acts are on the Main Stage which is made of two stages. In the past I've seen Phil continue to play the song String Cheese was playing as they finished their set and he began his set. The sound systems are connected. There is no real break in the music. You simply turn your head to watch the other band.
After the music on the main stage ends Mickey Hart is curating a "deep rhythm experience" in the woods. It is my understanding he will be playing with Kimock and the trees will be illuminated in psychedelic light shows and the woods will be wired for sound.
Then at 1am Gov't Mule has a one hour set scheduled at the Blue Ridge Bowl.
After that I'm returning to my hotel.

Thanks BB! I'll give you a shout if we can make it/or it happens, sigh. Saturday looks...well, horrible. Terribly disappointing. Can acts perform at all in rainy conditions...much less, significant thunderstorms. I'm wondering if we should try to sell our tickets. Any advice from veteran Lockners would be much appreciated. Fingers crossed...
