The website only has pictures of them. No names. Older white guys. Seven of them. Stage picture shows two guitars and drums and one guy on harp.

Like me, it's says they all hold the original Allman Brothers as the best band they ever heard and/or saw.

I read a conversation on a guitar forum about the recording One Way Out on Eat A Peach. They said at about 3:20 into the song Berry Oakley comes back in a half beat too early and the drummer ( probably Butch) quickly added an extra beat on the snare drum and the entire band turned on it and fell in sync with Oakley. They talked about how amazing it is to do that on the fly.

Jimmy Herring about 2002 in an interview said Dickey's solo on One Way Out is his favorite guitar solo on an ABB record. Jimmy said the energy and especially the tone of the guitar is just first rate.

A year or so later someone told Dickey about it and to my surprise Dickey said he couldn't remember what he did on that Eat A Peach solo.

When I was young and before I was “aware”I thought Duane played the solo. It’s perhaps Dickey’s most scorching solo. That’s when I think he found his “sound”
