Sounds great. Two for two on the pre-release tracks that have dropped so far. Don Was and Gregg's final band sound like they were the right guy / team for the job.
Strong, strong, strong. Man, Gregg really belts this one out. And the band brings on the swagger. Great horns.
My sense of the vibe of the album from some of the interviews and videos had been more of the sense of Gregg being somewhat fragile, haunted, resigned, understandably. This song is nothing like that - just pure balls. Very cool.
Oh good God is that great to hear! Gregory was an amazing talent.

Gregs voice sounds superb, amazing to know that his illness was so advanced yet he can sound this good. Looks like I'll hear the rest at the Grammy museum show.
