From 2003, an hour long, solid stuff: John Mayall - The Godfather Of British Blues (2003)

I'm a Mick Taylor fan, so I particularly enjoy that brief section. Some tasty tidbits.

Yes John is so important to the history of music and so many great players over the years. Eric Clapton and many more.

I saw the Stones not long after Taylor joined and he brought a real lead guitarist to that band. He is really good.

Thanks for the heads up. Will check this out!
I had the opportunity to see him in the mid to late 90's here in Indy. It was at a small bar type theater. Cool setting. Unfortunately, it was like in the dead of winter , middle of the week and the crowd was pretty thin.

It was interesting watching the roadies set up for the show. I saw this older gentleman doing some of the work , and it ended up being Mayall. It caught me off guard at first, and had to do a double take.
Buddy Whittington was his guitar player for the night.
