Jimbo Mathus @The Rockwood Music Hall, NYC 11/24/19

Here's a little something different. A fun blend of the musical spectrum. I'm a fan of Jimbo Mathus. I first learned of him through his work with the South Memphis String Band. He's got his own musical Americana thing going. He's as diverse as they come from deep traditional Southern Folk Blues to Countrytonk to the sometimes zany offerings of the Squirrel Nut Zippers. He came up to the Rockwood Music Hall in NYC in support of his new album Incinerator which musically resides somewhere in between them all. He's a fun character. Here's a couple videos and info.
You Are Like A Song

Thanks for posting these! I had tix but after seeing David Byrne’s American Utopia show earlier in the day ( it was great) I didn’t have it in me for another show same night.
Jimbo’s music is lots of fun no matter what style he goes for.
