Anyone seen a photo of Jimi with his Martin? I can't find one photo anywhere.
Why? Are you wanting something that doesn't exist or have actually seen one and trying to find a copy? While I'm certainly no Hendrix expert, the only acoustic I've seen Hendrix holding is a noname 12 string on Rainbow Bridge doing "Catfish Blues."
hendrix had a beautiful Martin D-45 he got at Manny's. i love Martins and I love Hendrix, just wondering if anyone had run across a photo.
what got me searching was a personal request from the archivist at Martin, who is doing a documentary on Martin players.

Brer I didn't know. I love Martins especially D-18 & 28's. Somehow seeing Hendrix with a Martin is like seeing Tony Rice with a strat. 😮 That is way cool.
