Hey everyone,

to anyone who has experience identifying these, based on these photos does this look real? Bought this off eBay and the seller says its late 60s. I know there were different models, did Duane use both the pre child cap and the one with the child cap? Any insight or info would be appreciated. Thank you!

{I've seen Pawn Stars} - so crawlman, what are your concerns ? 😉

The ebay links don't seem to work as you already bought the item, bid has ended, links just go to other bottles for sale, if I'm seeing it correctly.

Just google coricidin bottle images, there are tons of photos out there.

Posting a photo of your own involves another website, like photobucket or something, I've never done it, others can tell you how to do that, but I believe you just establish an account, then upload your photo, then link to it from within this thread.

I bought a coricidin bottle years ago, from someone on this site in a benefit auction, I forget what I paid but it went to benefit a member in need and I assumed the seller wouldn't put up a fake one for this auction.

I don't really have any concerns haha, just wondered if someone who was more familiar with them had any opinions. ill just google images. This bottle does look correct, with the W on the bottom and the seam, along with the number 28 on the bottom. So I'm pretty sure its real, I just like to be sure when I buy stuff like this.

Also, ( I guess I'm a real smart arse today )

Your post made me directly think of this ( so thanks for that ! )

"Is that a real poncho . . . I mean is that a Mexican poncho or is that a Sears poncho?"

Actually you can see the listing if you scroll down a bit, which will show the photos.

I have one I found in my parents garage years ago , it still has the label on it , the label says made in Canada which likely means the pills . The bottle looks like yours except the bottom has a square a triangle with a D in the middle with a six beside that , 16 on top and 4013 on bottom of triangle , it's very old you can tell by the label .

Hope you didn't pay too much - people are asking IMO a**tronomical prices for a glass bottle.

If you are trying to learn if it really is vintage, vs recent, you could compare it to photos of the newer ones, guitar accessory companies have been selling these for a long time. You might also look around in the slide guitar forums, someone has undoubtedly posted pics and trivia.
