The Christmas Jam Art Show - hosted by The Satellite Gallery is proud to present a conversation between Kirk West and Alan Paul, two of the world’s foremost Allman Brothers Band experts.

The longtime friends will interview one another about their extensive experiences with the band, their thoughts about the music and their respective books.

Alan Paul is the author of the New York Times bestseller One Way Out: The Inside History of the Allman Brothers Band, for which West served as photo editor. The book features 150 photos - half of which were taken by West.

Kirk West was a renowned Chicago photographer for years before he became the Allman Brothers’ Tour Mystic, a role he served from 1989-2010. His new book, Les Brers - Kirk West's Photographic Journey with The Brothers includes almost 1,000 pictures over 306 pages, as well as the author’s extensive recollections.

The book includes essays by Paul, Warren Haynes, former Grateful Dead and The Rolling Stones tour manager Sam Cutler and Hittin the Note Magazine Editor John Lynskey.

After their conversation, West and Paul will take questions and sign books.
