I love live music. If I dig the venue I'll educate myself with tickets to someone I'm not familiar with. I saw these Gents were playing the City Winery in NY, I did a quick search, found a couple videos, and got on board. Both Brian and Howie are quality songwriters, strummers, & vocalists in their own rights and put on a nice show. A simple show with just wires and wood (and a looping pedal board). I have a looping pedal for my guitars, but have not used it to it's fullest. Howie is of the new breed that delves into it deeply, pretty cool stuff. You know the old jokes about bass players and drummers getting a chick every once in a while, With this format they ain't getting nothin'. I love me some thumpers and pounders and they can never truly be replaced, but this format is a skillset in itself. Take a look.
