Head Count! How many of us are still active on this site?

Very few - WP shunned altogether, no new entries there in many many weeks - not many more in AGÂ

still around, like to lurk more than post.....

i check in every day. when is the live box coming out?????

Our band broke up 9 years ago and only Jaimoe and Dickey are left from the original lineup.Â
So it's understandable a site for the Allman Brothers Band had faded somewhat.Â
We still have Chuck, Derek, Warren, Otiel, Jack and Marc to follow but those are different bands and sounds. Not the same to me.Â
Jack doesn't play anymore I understand
We do have the 50th anniversary of Brothers and Sisters coming up. And Alan's book about it.Â
And 1973 is also the year Gregg's first and best solo album came out apparently because of Queen of Hearts not making it on Brothers and Sisters.Â

Hope Jack Pearson can come back sometime. Listen to his groove!! Right in the pocket man!Â

Still here. Mostly a lurker but I check in every day.

Yeah the WP seemed to keep some steam for a bit. Maybe when the next election and/if Trump or some other right wing republican gets elected that will stir the hornets nest!!! 😆 😆 😋 😋 🤣 🤣Â

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Posted by: @randallI check in just about every day, to see what's new, and also to see what jszfunk and robertdee have posted! I'm a big fan of both! (I hope that doesn't read as sarcasm, 'cause I'm serious.)
Thanks. I know I don't post a lot of ABB related material, not really much on that front obviously. I just enjoy music conversation and etc . I try and keep it going.
I love this site dearly. I just find it disheartening when I log on and alot of the same topics stay on the 1st page for days and weeks. Its really my only form of social media I engage in. I am part of a Deep Purple Discord Channel, VH Links every so often, and I do visit some guitar gear/brand forums sporadically , but that's about it.Â
There are some very knowledgeable people on here with different thoughts and perspectives which I do appreciate hearing. It makes you look at some topics differently, or "yeah, I can see that" or " you are crazier than a three eye Billy goat on weed" 😋 😋 😋 😋Â
On a side note, trying not to derail this.
On the topic of music discussion. I have mentioned in the past a few times that I am in the process (procrastinating) of getting a podcast going , two to be more accurate. Obviously music centered, but could veer off. One is going to be a band dedicated show the other is going to be music based like I mentioned as well, but kinda all over the place. I think I listen to more podcast about music than actually music itself!! I am just trying to muddle my way through the "tech " part of it, which I am not that proficient at, but learning. SO once that is done with a few other things hopefully up and running.
I am not sure if any of you all listen to podcasts or have done any, but would be interested in any shows you follow or experience with doing one and the tech end. Also looking for guests/ co host possibly.

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

I check in approx once a week in stead of at least twice a day in "the good old days". Hardly ever post. I'm not on facebook or other (anti)social media. Still a big fan and collector and always looking forward to new archive releases from the ABB or new releases from WH, GM and the TTB. Last year i wasn't able for the first time to catch a Mule show during their European Tour but fortunatelly did see a fantastic TTB concert in Rotterdam, Netherlands in october.Â

I still check in every so often, I made a lot of friends from this site over the past 25-30 years. I still miss the blue and brown pages.

I still lurk more than I post, but that was always the case. If I am looking for a rare recording though, this is the first place I post and check most of the time.Â
Sure do miss the Allman Brothers BandÂ

Still here, waiting for oldcoot* to post something funny ...
Â

First time today in a very long time.
I stopped coming around due to people forgetting how to have a normal discussion about anything. That can bore the crap out of anyone. Not to mention, the more interesting members either got banned or play-penned, cause some pu$$y got their feelings hurt.Â
Hope everyone is doing okay.
Laterz Brother Jamez

I stop by now and then to post on what are you listening to-thats about it.
Not the same anymore....

Don't have as much to say anymore, but like the last 20 years(or whatever it is) I still check in most days.Unfortunately, besides other things (like the band coming to an end),I think facebook took a bite out of the activity here.

I stop by maybe once a month and lurk for a minute or two. Things change. These days I mostly just see local/regional bands at small venues. The big shows are too difficult for an old man. But I have so many great memories.

I check in about once a week, hoping that one of you has an update on the Duane-era video release.
😕

Once in a great while, usually just to check what may be coming from the archives. Would be nice if some one from management would say something once in awhile about projects just to provide some morale lifting. Is there still any momentum behind the Duane Allman era DVD project?
