Happy Thread!

Some threads have gone off the rails lately, no doubt the past few weeks have been an incredible stress on some of us. So here is a happy thread - share only good vibes and be kind. Let's keep the cream rising to the top!
I'll start - "Jessica" on madno and uke!

Wow porkchopbob. That was fantastic. Had to play it twice. Wonderful alternative version of Jessica!
Just heard on the news British Prime Minister Boris Johnson who has Covid 19 is now in intensive care at a London hospital.
To help put our minds off this virus here is some fantastic jazz played live by some outstanding musicians including a great piano solo by the great Teddy Wilson.

Benny Goodman! That swings, nice!

Yeah Jaimoe always brags about what great musicians those old jazz and swing guys are and he is right. Tremendous musicians back then.

How about a little laughter and comedy too!

That lady, Morgan, has a great voice. Wish there was more that just one camera. Great version though and it's fun to see how some rock songs fit classical arrangements. Some years ago I began to notice a lot of elevator music had classical orchestras playing Beatles music and the melodies sounded wonderful.

Here is Libby playing her version of Mack The Knife back when it was popular on the piano.
The piano playing is absolutely incredible. Very advanced technically!

Great stuff everyone, thanks tonz
Laterz

and who can forget this hit?
A wanna, and a twoaa, ...

Dig that Liberace clip - his talent as a pianist can’t be denied, have thought that on other clips too - great entertainer!
Happy Froggy, from the Buck Dewey Big Band’s 1998 CD Friday Night Chicken Waltz - the whole CD will put you in a happy mood

Just two electric guitars. No other instruments. But a very nice version of a Les Paul hit with some hot picking.

I can't play this at work as I start laughing out loud, funniest man ever! This makes me happy!

Wayne that is way cool. Watched it twice
Can you imagine Derek or Warren wearing this outfit below?
It's kinda of a Captain Marvel suite. But the Strat playing may top Eddie Van Halen or Steve Vai. Well probably not but just as impressive technically.

Check this out Wayne. I liked this guy as good as Rodney.

Gary Moore was a great player, I have a blues cd of his somewhere, used to play it a lot. I could pass on the outfit though!
Yeah, Jonathan Winters, he was funny, a lot of those old guys were top notch. I have a soft spot for Rodney though as I got to hang out with him for awhile in his dressing room after his show at the Agora Ballroom in the early 80s. He liked to party!

Yeah Rodney was the best rapid fire joke after joke comedian I ever saw. Just kept you laughing.

Two great comedians alright - & good in other roles too, Rodney as trailer trash in Natural Born Killers
...& Winters in the Twilight Zone episode A Game Of Pool
Have all of Paul’s happy songs arranged - GDSunshine, YMSKnow, Obladi Oblada, MSHammer, When I’m 64 etc etc
