Some great jamming on this Viola Lee.
So many people always sit in over the years from the beginning with Mule I'll bet Warren never feels that need.

Not that Mule needs it... I just really like the way Warren works with other guitarists. One plus one is much more than two.

Krasno just tore it up on Just a Little Light! That was nice stuff.

I was just thinking that might have been the best solo of the night! At least so far.
I thought the segue out of Help into Just a Little Light was clumsy... but, what do I know? Maybe they meant to do that?

Did they go back into "Help On the Way" before "Uncle John's Band"?

The almost Q sounding very nice on Uncle John's Band!

Yeah I think they teased it.

This is good, good stuff.

This is kicking ass! A little Slipknot into Franklin's Tower...

Now that switch was killer. Definitely hittin the note big time right now. Very light on their collective feet. That is some dancing music right there!

I actually got up and danced... still tethered to headphones but moved a bit anyways.
Fast paced Franklin's!

Yes for real that was a dancing tune. Could not be helped. Great Franklins.

The chemistry is very evident at the end. These guys have a real bond. Nice show.

Beautiful Stella Blue. Warren can really, really sing.
I'm streaming Wednesday and Thursday too tbomike. Having a little party Thursday. Wife's out of town, I've invited neighbors down for leftover Irish food.
Hope to see you on Wednesday.
Thanks for sharing.

Hope you are catching tonight Billy. The Barry Sless/ Warren pairing has really got my attention!

Pretty hot stuff alright. I expect to get a lot more action second set. Warren and Barry work well together!

WOW! Both those solos in Unbroken Chain were searing!

I'm blown away by how incredibly great and creative they sound tonite.Blistering.One of the best Phil shows I've heard.
The entire band is on fire.
Sless is a superbly interesting player and wonderful compliment to Warren.Way more multi dimensional and a wider range than krasno-never felt that band established the kind of groove they are capturing tonight.Just beautiful. The singing, harmonies are excellent as well.

This is very interesting. Dynamic. In sync.

This jam right now is over the top. Killer groove.

This jam right now is over the top. Killer groove.
Absolutely.

Vocals are special!

Warren seems less restrained in this show...they all have much greater energy...can't get over how good the pairing is-I had never heard Sless before..wow...

Hittin the note!!!

Sless play with Molo in MoonAlice and the Dave Nelson Band so he is an easy fit and him and Warren are hittin the note together.

He was a regular with Phil too for awhile. He and Larry Campbell made some great music as "Friends".
This second set is spectacular... Jam > Crazy Fingers > Unbroken Chain > Mason's Children > Dark Star > The Other One...
Now in this transition you can hear reminders of Comes a Time from the first set and a little more Dark Star

I could hear a lot of the themes from tonight's show in that little exploration before Wharf Rat.
Excellent work.

Sless is a psychedelic player and like Sco pushed Warren in a jazz direction he and Warren are finding their own connection tonight. I think it is really working.

This is just so good!

GAWD!
China Cat no Rider in 1st Set now they rip into I Know You Rider...
Good Golly GEE WILLIKERS!!!
