Me too. I spent a good part of my life OBSESSED with Eric. Bums me out some of the recent stuff about him, but his music will always be the soundtrack of my life and I stopped having heroes a long time ago.
but man, his music. Funny, I heard It’s In the Way that You Use It teased on a tv show the other day, and hadn’t heard it in forever, and spent that night playing it over and over again.

I know he has detractors these days, but I give him props for chops. I guess he just grew up to be a cranky old man.
