My God, that was a truly gorgeous piece of music.
The soul and emotion in that vocal delivery was pure honey drippin' beauty. Very interesting to hear that voice raw and un-doctored by the studio in it's purest form acoustically. Totally shows that his talent, even in it's most raw form, was immeasurable. Very interesting use of gospel/blues chord voicings on the piano also.
