I am not familiar with the song, but, to put it nicely, that was not a very good fit for Gregg. Just a little over-produced.
Ok, it made me cringe.

It worked for Ronnie Hammond, but this is Gregg's interpretation, so of course it will not be the same. It's like when ARS did So Into You, it was perfect, or 38 Special fantasy Girl, sometimes the songs that certain bands do are theirs and no imitation is going to be comparable. But in all fairness, Gregg's got some of his own that nobody else can do the way he does, nobody can touch him on Are You Lonely For Me Baby, or Standback or I don't know how many others.
