Great Female Instrumentalists

Hit me with some of your favorite women players - no matter the instrument. Links appreciated where possible! It's a little crazy how male dominated jazz/blues/rock/jamband instrumental talent seems to be. Like we can all name a bunch of great female players I'm sure, but there's so many more men. So, let's shine a light on some great female players.
My favorite is Hiromi Uehara - jazz piano player. Here she is with her old fusion group Sonicbloom playing "Time Difference".
And 1 more - Time Out

Cindy Cashdollar - Queen of the slide, unbelievable steel guitar

Anat Cohen - clarinet, tenor, and soprano sax
Terri Lynne Carrington - drums
Prime example of what I was hoping for in this thread. The Anat Cohen links were great and I wasn't familiar with her at all until now.

Jane Ira Bloom.
I saw her do a lecture and performance at the High Museum as part of the Atlanta Jazz Festival in the late 80's or early 90's. She talked about the architecture of music and actually built towers of sound in the auditorium. Really cool stuff.
Miles Davis performed at that same Jazz Festival. I learned a lot in just a couple of days.
