Thanks for sharing. We watched the show and were impressed. Wonderful interpretations of these songs. Mayer and Oteil have breathed new life into this music. So cool to see them enjoying the music as well. I saw the Dead several times in the late 80's and early 90's. This revival seems so respectful to the music as a whole. Only thing I miss is Phil and his fret glowing bass. I love Oteil and he can sing the hell out of these tunes, but I really wish Phil would sit in on some of these shows.

Just glad that this music is being recreated by these wonderful musicians. Reminds me of the Allmans revival queued by Warren and Derek.

shep66, I agree, Phil is irreplaceable and that is not a knock on Oteil whose playing, I love. Smile So glad Phil is still playing with Phil and Friends and Terrapin Family Band.
