Good band. I wish Krasno were playing.

Over the past year or so, it has gotten to where Lettuce plays more gigs without Krasno than with him. When he does appear, it's like as a special guest.

My take on it is that Krasno's many other projects were keeping Lettuce from playing as much as the rest of the band wanted to, so he gave them his blessing to tour without him.

While I was skeptical at first, Adam Smirnoff is a damn good guitarist in his own right, and the Krasno-less Lettuce show I saw in Atlanta in October was top notch.

One of the best live bands in America, if not THE best.

this was posted on jambands today.........

Eric Krasno has posted a statement regarding his absence from a number of recent Lettuce shows. The guitarist, who also plays with Soulive, Pretty Lights Live Band and a number of other projects, put up a Facebook post that reads

:A few of you have noticed that I haven’t been at some of the Lettuce shows lately and I felt the need to explain why. Lettuce has had a huge year and the demand is at an all time high. I couldn’t be happier about this. Lettuce is a collective of best friends and it’s exciting for all of us to watch it succeed. The band has momentum now that can’t be stopped. In the past few years I have taken on a lot of new projects as a producer, writer and am now in the process of launching a new label. These ventures along with other bands and shows that I do from time to time make it hard for me to commit to every Lettuce show now that the band has become a full time touring machine. However, I will always be a part of a Lettuce and will still be doing select dates throughout this year and years to come. Long Live Lett!! ?#?Lett4Life?

Thanks for posting that, I appreciate it! That is pretty much exactly what I thought was going on. Still, it's good to know that Krasno is still on good terms with the rest of the guys and there hasn't been any falling out or anything like that.

Lettuce is still a great band without him, I'm relieved to see, but any band is better with Eric Krasno on the stage.
I hope the next time Lettuce comes to Atlanta, they have Krasno with them. That would be a dream come true! Smile Glad to know I can keep the dream alive....
