Well, like a few previous posts, I've been watching the Sea of Tranquility page on youtube, and they talk about lots of different music, different themes, etc. This month, the theme is Favorite Debut albums. There's a lot of great debuts, and it's hard harrowing it down to just 31. Keep in mind, mine aren't really ranked. I'm just going off the top of my head for the most part. I Might pick some on a certain day because it could be their birthday, etc. Here's the first 10 that I have so far.

#31. Kris Kristofferson - Kristofferson
#30. The Police - Outlandos D'Amour
#29. Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble - Texas Flood
#28. Dio - Holy Diver
#27. The Byrds - Mr. Tambourine Man
#26. Gary Clark Jr. - Blak & Blu
#25. The Outlaws - Outlaws
#24. Hootie & The Blowfish - Cracked Rear View
#23. Jackson Browne - Jackson Browne
#22. Marcus King Band - Soul Insight

Boston

The Cars

Dragonfly, Jefferson Starship - they hadn’t recorded in a few years & this was an entirely new venture for Paul & Grace

Would also have to mention Gregg’s & Dickey’s debuts, Laid Back & Highway Call

@lee I bought Tales Of Ordinary Madness when it came out and still have it. 1993? I think that was the year.

Then in 1994 I bought the debut album of Gov't Mule. Mother Earth is my favorite track.
