Thought I would share my Eric Johnson licks tips video with all you guitar players on the site. I don't use this video now as I've moved way past this with my own playing.
I used all of Eric's tips in my playing and now I should be able to play this piece note for note just like he does. But it doesn't work so far. I'm sure I need to upgrade from this Silvertone guitar to a nice PRS or SG then I'll be right there with Eric Johnson.
I'm also working to play this piece note for note just like Gary does here. This has more pop to it than Johnsin.
Still trying to play that second video above just like Eric Johnson. I'm getting close.

Thanks Stephen. Eric Johnson is a technical wizzard. Not on the level of Steve Vai who is way ahead of Eddie Van Halen. But that Vai stuff is too wild for this old man.
